Is a national 55mph speed limit the best way to immediately lower the demand for oil?
Since vehicles get better gas mileage at lower speeds, should the government bring back the national 55mph speed limit to decrease fuel consumption, and the demand for oil?
(drilling new wells would take years to make a difference in the demand for oil)
It would help!
