Economical cars are the rage today as gas prices climb to record levels. The Honda fuel cell vehicle – the FCX Clarity is making a big impact in California. The California hydrogen highway is a series of hydrogen refueling stations in California for fuel cell vehicles – this state is leading the way. This device that fits under your hood is based on an old technology using the current from your battery to charge the water and release the hydrogen atoms. Although hydrogen generators were invented decades ago, they weren’t very well known until the 1990’s when they started being used in Hummers for the U.S. military.
