Golf/Rabbit IV TDI SE 90PS 2001Y(Apr)?

What is the best “long life” oil for my Golf TDI 90PS and where is the cheapest place to purchase the oil? My girlfriend has clocked up 10k in 3 months and I want to service myself using suitable long-life oil as this makes more sense. I hear that Castrol have stopped producing the Long Life II so am completely comfused? What are VW dealerships using nowadays?
