Insurance on a 2001 mercedes SLK230 compared to a 1999 C280 SPORT?

Would the Insurance be higher on the SLK because it is a genuine sports car?
I want to buy one but I want about the same insurance as I have on my C280 (which has a 220bhp 2.8 liter V6) If I buy the SLK (which is a 2.3 liter I4) I believe it also has a higher safety rating, can anybody give me a base estimate, (age, credit, and such aside)—- I know I can go check for myself.. but then what would be the point of yahoo answers..
