Lower Tether strap installation in my 2000 durango?

I have a 2000 Dodge Durango and I was wondering if I could get the lower tether straps that sit by the seat beat buckles installed in my car… or if this is even possible? I have called some dealerships and everyone seems to be clueless. My parents have GMs and they have two silver hooks that you hook the infant seat to. Is it possible to get these installed in my car? thanks!

Not that I know of. They are usually built into the seat by the manufacturer. You could talk with the local police department. They will usually do a car seat install free of charge. Our Sheriff told me that he actually goes to training programs to install car seats. Not sure if the LATCH is any better or worse.
