First step is to turn the key on. listen for a whirl sound to confirm that the fuel pump is coming on. If you don’t here any pump noise then you most likely have a bad fuel pump. You have to remove the gas tank to replace it, so check for a bad fuse or pump relay first. If you hear the fuel pump come on then remove the fuel filter to check for restrictions in it. The fuel filter is located under the truck secured to the frame rail. If the fuel filter is okay you might have a bad module. It is located in the distributer. You can have it check by any auto parts store for free. Good luck
