How can I get spray paint off of alloy wheel?

Someone spray painted wheels to add style to his wheels..and he now gave them to me. I want to take it off without damaging the wheel. the wheels are off a 1992 300zx.

well i would use a light paint remover . like what is used on plastic bumpers. it should remover the spray paint . however you will have to repaint the wheels.You might be able to find some graffiti remover that might work better.As it is used to take spray paint after a object has been tagged.
